Miners provide their computing power both for processing blockchain transactions and for securing the decentralized system. In return, they receive rewards in BTC.   <\/p>\n<h2>How much Do Bitcoin Miners Earn?<\/h2>\n<p>The amount of the reward depends on which block the Bitcoin protocol is currently in. Initially, Bitcoin miners received 50 Bitcoins per block. However, every 210,000 blocks, the reward is halved due to the so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinpro.ch\/en\/glossary\/bitcoin-halving\/\">Bitcoin halving<\/a>.
