White papers, known as Weisspapier in German, existed long before digital currencies. This type of document originally comes from the political sphere. They were collections of documents that states used to publish in order to inform and guide the public on political issues. They were often accompanied by explanations and justifications for the government’s actions in everyday political life. These white papers were published and distributed at regular intervals. Especially in the days before digital communication, they were the best way to get the public more involved in political events. <\/p>\n
