Through an ambitious investment plan, the semiconductor manufacturer wants to become one of the largest Bitcoin investors on earth. <\/p>\n<p>Over the next five years, Sequans wants to invest in 100,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinpro.ch\/en\/bitcoin-en\/what-is-bitcoin-the-btc-cryptocurrency-explained-simply\/\">Bitcoin<\/a>. According to the current status, the company would be the second largest Bitcoin investor among all listed companies in the world. Only Strategy, with around 629,000 BTC, already exceeds this value today.  <\/p>\n<p>The first 384 million US dollars have already been invested. With this capital, 3,171 BTC were acquired, it was announced. According to today&#8217;s figures, 11.9 billion US dollars would have to be invested to reach the target of 100,000 BTC.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSequans launched its Bitcoin treasury strategy on July 8, 2025 with a strategic investment of $384 million through a private placement of convertible bonds and shares.
