Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?
To this day, no one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto really is. The name itself is just a pseudonym. It is not even known whether Satoshi Nakamoto was just one person or even a whole group of people. The fact is that more people than just a single person were essential to the development of Bitcoin.
Incidentally, the smallest unit of Bitcoin is also named after Satoshi. 0.00000001 BTC is therefore 1 Satoshi. Meanwhile, one Bitcoin consists of 100 million Satoshis.
