Gwei

In the Ethereum blockchain, a Gwei represents the smallest unit of the digital currency Ether.

One Ether is defined as one billion Gwei. A Gwei, or Gigawei, in turn consists of 1,000,000,000 Wei, where Wei in turn means the smallest possible Ether unit. The Gwei unit is used to calculate gas fees. In contrast to Satoshis in Bitcoin, Gwei is therefore not the smallest unit, even if the unit is very common.
