DDoS attacks are malicious attacks on servers. These can be systems of email providers, website operators, or even crypto exchanges. Attackers send huge numbers of requests to the systems in question. Sooner or later, this leads to an overload in request processing. The availability of servers is thus massively disrupted and can even be completely interrupted at times.
