Block producers – also known as block producers – are also referred to as delegates in blockchain-based ecosystems (such as with the Delegated Proof of Stake (DDoS consensus). System users determine these producers. Block producers are responsible for creating blocks, but also ensure the functioning and legitimacy of the network as a whole in its current form with all transactions.
